Our cat keeps pooping on our bed. Help.

The only time I've heard of a cat doing that is when the box is atrocious to them. It might be clean, but too small or they don't like the litter or the hood or some such.

My sympathies.

Yeah, we've thought of that. But we keep the box clean and it's the same box they've been using since they were kittens. We did move about 6mo ago, and because of the layout of the apartment, the box is less "private" than it was in the old place. Maybe it's that. If so, nothing to be done, really. Ah well. Thanks for the advice.

It might be worth donating a closet for litterbox privacy if it would keep them from doing that on your bed. My brother and his wife did that, puting a doggie door on the closet door so the cats could get in and out easily but holding any odor in. And they can easily just open the door to retrieve the box for cleaning.

I agree with Esbee. If the box and litter are the same, it's just the location that's changed, and cats like privacy.
Losing a closet is worth not having poo in bed.
